This is ex SCRTD / LACMTA 9034. These buses were retired between 19982001
The 1981 GMC RTSs were indeed my favorite buses running the streets of L.A. SCRTD Ordered about 940 of these turkeys. Although some units are retired, a few of them were saved by private companies.
Powertrain = DD 6V92 engine and Allison V730 transmission
