A look at Radio Shack's TRS80 (Tandy) Color Computer 2, introduced in 1983 as a restyled and slightly upgraded version of the original "CoCo" from 1980.

Its ninecolor (eight colors plus black) graphics and sound weren't as good as other home computers of the time like the C64 and Atari 800XL, but it features an excellent version of Microsoft BASIC and with a disk drive, it can run a realtime multitasking operating system known as OS9.

This particular example was retrofitted by its original owner with an aftermarket HJL57 keyboard, which provided improved typing feel and additional function keys versus the original "melted" keyboard it came with.
