Chill out for 5 minutes and join me for some thermalling and friendly banter as I take to the skies at Caulfield for the second flight of my Ranger 2000. I’m joined by Ron with his 2m Night Radian and Ian gives his newly completed 2m Gentle Lady a short test flight.

My plane: Volantex Ranger 2000 2m Electric Glider with 2200mAh 3S Lipo
Flight 1: 22 mins with 50% battery remaining
Flight 2: 35 mins along side 2m Radian with 1800mAh 3S Lipo

Today I have locked the ESC which feathers the propeller, which reduces drag for better gliding performance. I experiment with the flap setting for best gliding performance.
