Both methods are easy to follow. The most important part of making hard candy right, it to have a calibrated thermometer. Hard candy is ready when the mixture reaches 300°F. If you allow your candy to cook past this temperature, the color will begin to turn brown and add a funny taste to your candy. Try out the methods shown in this video and let us know your favorite!
