In January of 2001, I took a walk around the former Naval Training Center in San Diego. At the time the base had been handed over to the City of San Diego for a variety of uses and tenants. Construction on "Liberty Station" was a few years off.
At the time, I hadn't really developed and filmmaking skills, and really had no intention of sharing the video, so my technique leaves much to be desired. Unfortunately, the base has now been completely transformed, so its all I've got. I've edited as best I could to make it as viewable as possible.
I would love to hear comments that could provide insight or first hand experiences at NTC San Diego. I myself have never served in any branch of the military, but I developed a fascination with the base when I came to play golf at SailHo golf course. Enjoy!
