Enduro riding has evolved to become one of the most popular disciplines in mountain biking. There’s a good reason for that too, as it’s no secret most of us enjoy the descents a lot more than the climbs. That’s why downhill bikes used to be so popular they nailed the descent but then unfortunately required you to walk (or drive) back up.

So that's where Enduro bikes come in, a bike you can actually use to climb with but then is capable enough to handle the downhill course or even bike park. Indeed, that’s why Enduro bikes are the bike of choice and have replaced Downhill bikes for a lot of riders.

The only problem in designing an enduro bike, however, is that it ends up being expensive, as it needs lightweight efficiency to handle the trail climbs and yet has bombproof reliability to handle the descent. That’s where, with our directtoconsumer model, we can supply highperformance bikes at marketleading prices. And the Polygon Siskiu N fits this model perfectly it's the Enduro bike for the masses and one of our most popular models in the lineup.

The Siskiu N has proven itself on the rugged trails of the enduro world series. The rigidity of the frame is maintained due in part to the Aluminium boost frame and straight downtube. Flex around the linkage is also significantly reduced thanks to the onepiece linkage. All of this combined allows the bike to track straight when ploughing through rough sections of trails and improves predictability on corners and berms.

The Siskiu N isn't short of travel either with 29in bikes coming with 160mm of travel front and rear, and 27.5in bikes with 170mm. The suspension is nice and progressive too, making it supple and sensitive at the beginning of the stroke but then providing plenty of bottomout resistance on bigger drops and g outs at the end of the stroke.

The Sikiu N is available in 2 great value models, the 7 and the 9. Starting off with the base level Siskiu N7, it provides a great fit for spec, a rarity on enduro bikes at this price point. The spec list includes 4 piston Shimano brakes, a long travel dropper post, and 1x12 speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, which provides more than enough range to get you up any mountain. Another highlight is the RockShox Yari fork, which matches the stiffness of both the frame and linkage. The damper is also upgradable allowing the bike to progress with you as your skills develop.

The N9 steps things up a notch for those looking for a little bit more performance straight out of the box. This is mainly due to the Fox DPX2 rear shock with a piggyback reservoir allowing for more consistent performance on longer descents. If you are planning on taking the bike to the bike park or have longer descents, the N9 might be the better option for you. This notion is certainly reinforced when you consider that you also get a fox 36 performance fork as well as the lighter and crisper shifting 1x12 speed Shimano XT drivetrain.

So if you climb purely for the descents, or perhaps love hitting the bike park, check out the Polygon Siskiu N series.
