The Audi A3 2022 model range mightn't be the most desirable choice for a lot of customers in this SUV crazy world, but it lives up to its predecessor models by offering a solid option for buyers who want a luxury, German, smartly styled and sharply priced sedan or hatchback.

The 2022 Audi A3 sedan and Sportback hatch have seen big changes there's heavily refreshed styling, a new interior with different trims, finishes and a newlook layout, and of course the brand with "tech" as part of its tagline, there's new connectivity, safety technology, and the powertrains have seen some changes, too.

One of them is a mildhybrid unit in the base model A3 35 TFSI, while the higherspec 40 TFSI is more aimed at customers who want a bit more performance, a quicker 0100 time, but maybe can't justify the spend on the S3 (see our previous review of that car here:    • 2022 Audi S3 sedan and Sportback revi...  

And don't go thinking that A3 customers miss out on the brand's famed 'quattro' allwheel drive system it features, too.
