The Mini Cooper SE is an electric car (EV) with one of the smallest batteries and rated ranges currently on sale in the USA. As a consequence it's also one of the the cheapest.

This is the first in a series of videos that will test the range of the Mini Cooper SE at varying speeds, temperatures and surface conditions.

In this video we look at a 2 hour roundtrip commute traveling over suburban roads and a 60mph highway simulating a trip where someone may live in one time and commute to work in another.

In this video we are in perfect conditions, a dry road and comfortable weather that needs neither air conditioning or heating.

Followup videos will make the same trip in hot, freezing and wet conditions to compare the impact they will have on range.

Other videos will cover the same but at freeway/interstate speeds.
