This is a Top Flite 85.5” giant scale P47 built from a kit with custom livery. I purchased it second hand.
I flew on a gusty day to get practice with wind. I had a great flight until the landing. On the third approach, I believe it tip stalled and I chose a bad direction to go, causing the crash. I outline what happened. I don’t know the words to express all the feelings I have regarding this crash. Let me know in the comments if you think something else caused the crash.
