Junior Storyteller Sessions with Middle and High Schoolers

Welcome to our channel, where we celebrate the stories and histories that reflect our true identities. In our Junior Storyteller sessions, middle and high school students dive into history that mirrors their experiences and contributions, often overlooked in traditional programs.

Our sessions provide a culturally receptive environment where Black youth learn alongside peers with similar backgrounds and experiences. This safe space allows them to explore their creativity, artistry, and voices, fostering a profound sense of belonging and validation.

Participants transform as they are heard and appreciated in ways they may not have experienced before. Our program showcases their brilliance, sparking curiosity to uncover and share the rich, often whitewashed history that fails to highlight Black achievements.

Every session begins and ends with positive affirmations, encouraging continuous selfdiscovery, understanding, and confidence. We aim to uplift Black youth by providing them the tools to better understand themselves and their heritage.
