Empathy is skill that can be taught that's what inaugural UCalgary Inclusive Excellence Award recipient Dr. Safaneh Mohaghegh Neyshabouri believes. Using literature as her tool, she builds inclusive teaching spaces where students can ask hard questions and perhaps question their own longheld beliefs in the effort to see things from another person's perspectives.
