In this video USSA Pro Star Cup Series Final Race. Camera 1 Position was compromised by a frozen tripod that refused to cooperate as the fluid was near frozen. On the second lap the tripod and ice pics slid into a crack in the ice preventing smooth rotation down the back side of the track. I chose to keep the footage in one piece to show continuity how the events unfolded during the race. Otherwise the footage would be cut to form a more professional take. So please excuse the quality as filming at these temperatures can be a challenge.
Conditions26 trackside 55Kph winds these Champ drivers had a lot of blowing snow to deal with even though the Track had been swept and cleared. Blaine Stevenson won. Sabrina Blanchet was unfortunately disqualified for a broken ski loop. Tom Olsen was third.
