The VW Golf GTI has a loyal fan base, but so does the Volkswagen Polo GTI, which is more compact and therefore closer to the spirit of the original… Golf GTi. Since June 1, 2023, you can order one of 2,500 copies of the Polo GTI Edition 25, a special range launched by the brand to celebrate you guessed it the 25th anniversary of the sport Polo.
Performance
In 1998, the VW Polo was first adorned with the three iconic GTI letters. Then there was an atmospheric 1.6 with 125 hp under the hood. A quarter of a century later, the little bomb has come a long way. Its 2.0 TSI engine now develops 207 hp and 320 Nm, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

Price
To maximize efficiency, all extras are standard on this Edition 25: a suspension lowered by 15 millimeters, special rims and sports seats in black and red perforated leather. Like most current Polos, the GTI Edition 25 rolls off the line in South Africa, in a factory that opened in 1951 and is still the largest car factory in all of Africa!. The Polo GTI Edition 25 can be ordered for 39,845 euros.
