The 2024 Computer Science graduation ceremony was held at the Durham Convention Center on May 11 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with opening remarks made by Jian Pei, Arthur S. Pearse, Distinguished Professor of Computer Science and the Director of the computer science program at Duke University.
The presentation of the doctorate degrees was conferred by Long Ge, director of graduate studies at Duke University’s Computer Science Program. In contrast, the presentation of the master’s degrees was conferred by Xiaowei Yang, director of graduate studies at Duke University’s Computer Science Program. Susan Rodger, director of undergraduate studies for the computer science program at Duke University, presented awards and diplomas to the 2024 undergraduate class, bringing the ceremony to a close.
