After a long weekend of practice and racing on some fast and gnarly trails in central Texas, we ended it with a 5.5 mile Excursion Race. So many of us were battered and sore, but didn't want to miss out on the fun. Follow along in my helmet cam as I have stumble after stumble, but keep getting back on board and end up having an insane finish! After getting rearended at the beginning pileup and falling on my ass while getting propelled by another board, I had some making up to do. My top speed during this race was 36.7 on my homemade VESC board, and it was clearly a game changer on the straightaways. Time to start working on my leg strength and endurance over the next few weeks before Dirtsurferz in Eureka Springs!
