The GranTurismo is one of the most elegant and timeless grand tourers developed by Maserati. Maserati sold the firstgeneration GranTurismo for over a decade without making any significant design changes. For the allnew secondgeneration Maserati GranTurismo, the Italian carmaker decided to enhance that firstgeneration’s exterior design instead of revolutionizing it. The new Maserati GranTurismo now also ditches the 4.2liter V8 to install the firm’s inhouse built new 3.0liter V6 ‘Nettuno’ engine that produces 542hp in Trofeo trim. The interior has been given a major overhaul with most buttons being replaced with a massive touchscreen on the center console. Luxury materials galore across the dashboard of the new GranTurismo with a host of modernday creature comforts and connected technology embedded as well.
