The United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, the Thunderbirds, performed at Mather Airport in Sacramento California the weekend of July 13th 14th. This year the California Capital Airshow featured a twilight demonstration, allowing spectators to witness some full afterburners with an incredible sunset in the California heat. With the show kicking off at 17 : 30 local, the Thunderbirds were one of the very first performances of the evening given the unique lighting conditions. The team put on a full 6 ship High Show as they rocked the capital city.

Huge shoutout to Darcy and the rest of the CCA team for putting on another fantastic airshow this year! The California Capital Airshow will be back next year on March 22nd 23rd featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, with their first performance in Sacramento in the F/A18 Super Hornet.
