The 2024 VA Immersive Summit was held in June, bringing together Veterans, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) leadership, staff, industry, and academia to collaborate on behalf of immersive technology adoption and expansion across VA. The VA Immersive Summit is organized by Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) Strategic Initiatives Lab and showcases the realworld benefits of immersive technologies, like virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), on Veteran care and employee wellbeing. This year’s event took place in Washington, D.C., and featured inperson demonstrations, panels, and speakers, including Veterans and frontline staff.
