Cruising the coast of British Columbia 2024 aboard “Natasha”. This is Part 5 of 7. Paul LeBlanc & I sail north from Refuge Cove into the Discovery Islands, usually included in “Sailing to Desolation Sound” by sailors. However, getting to the Discovery Islands requires passage through narrows where tidal currents run strongly. We enjoy great sailing and spectacular scenery, hook up with sailing buddies and work our way through a grounding. Eventually, Paul leaves “Natasha” in Campbell River and I await the arrival of young Natasha, the boat’s namesake.
