2024 Volkswagen ID.UNYX indepth Walkaround

The Volkswagen ID. UNYX marks the debut of the ID. The UX category showcases an expressive design, a drivercentric interior, and advanced new HumanMachine Interface (HMI) features, including a 3D avatar and large language model. This innovative vehicle enters the market with a starting price of $28,900.

Built on Volkswagen’s MEB platform, the ID. UNYX is a compact SUV with dimensions of 4663 mm in length, 1860 mm in width, and 1610 mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 2766 mm. It features a fiveseater layout and is available in five exterior colors: Sunrise Gold, Awaking Grey, Dreamy White, Shadow Black, and Moonlight Silver.

The ID. UNYX offers two drivetrain options: a singlemotor twowheel drive and a dualmotor fourwheel drive. The singlemotor variant delivers a maximum power of 170 kW (228 hp), while the dualmotor variant provides a combined maximum power of 250 kW (335 hp). Equipped with an 82.4 kWh ternary lithium battery pack, the vehicle boasts two CLTC cruising ranges of 621 km and 565 km, respectively.
