We’ve been modifying this Subaru over the last 6 months to try and make it faster than a Lamborghini for £15,000. Now it’s finally time to see if it can be done.

Over the last 6 months, we’ve fitted an uprated clutch, a set of coilovers, some sticky semi slicks, stripped 136kg of weight, upgraded the brakes, fitted stiffer antiroll bars and then finally we pushed the car from 196bhp to 304bhp. That means we’ve spent just £9065 of our budget INCLUDING the car.
