モボ21形 was introduced in 1994 to commemorate 1200th anniversary of establishing Heiankyō (平安京, the official capital from 794AD to 1868 AD in Japan). During spring and autumn tourist seasons, モボ21形 would be used to provide direct service between Arashiyama and KitanoHakubaichō (嵐山~北野白梅町) (sadly this game does not have such route.) Despite the retro appearances, it was actually based on モボ621形, resulting in decent performances.

Last time when I drive along this route I almost run into a truck. This time I intentionally slow down before the intersection to avoid collisions (09:31 in the video). It is possible to go full speed and get ahead of the traffic, but a collision might still occur right before the station when you start braking.
