While Snowflake excels in data warehousing and storage, Databricks leads in AI and machine learning, with both nearly equal in data governance.

Despite a minority planning to shift entirely to one platform, most customers have no plans to change, indicating a balanced market. Adoption of open table formats, particularly Apache Iceberg, is growing but remains gradual, showing a strong future interest in open data solutions.
