The .243 Winchester and 7mm08 Remington are the two most common examples of cartridges developed by necking down the .308 Winchester to shoot smaller diameter bullets. While each of the three cartridges offer certain benefits to hunters, it's still easy to get confused when trying to understand their true strengths and weaknesses.
