It was mentioned several times in my channel that tendinitis and tendinopathy often occur near bony area and according to studies, tendons are vulnerable to compressive loads(compression) and tensile loads(stretch). Most tendons are near bones so when you stretch them out, they get compressed against their bony attachment. On top of that, supraspinatus gets pinched between the two bones as described in this video. Please see my first two videos above to find out more about tendon problems.

This would not be the only solution for shoulder impingement. You may have other musculoskeletal issues that can contribute to your shoulder pain so please see a health professional who can properly assess and advise you.
