Melbourne Airport is Australia's second busiest airport, attracting almost 30 million passengers annually. The airport is celebrating a very important milestone this year, amid one of its worst performing years due to the ongoing pandemic, the airport celebrates its 50th birthday. Opening in 1970 to replace the current airport at the time, Essendon Fields.
