3 Reasons I No Longer Buy Stihl Brush Cutter Blades

I love the Stihl brand. They make some of the most capable and strongest products I have ever used. In my opinion, their small engines are second to none and the quality is top notch. When I bought my Stihl FS 240, I knew I would be using it to clear brush, multiflora rose, brambles, briars, etc. so I bought the Stihl brush cutter blade right away. After using it some, it was doing a fine job, but I wanted a second blade so I could have 2 sharp blades to use when doing big jobs. So, on the internet I went to find something that would fit. I was immediately drawn to the look of this Forrester blade because it looked heavy duty. I gave it a shot for about $22 and I wasn’t disappointed! I have used the Stihl blade very little since I purchased this one.

Here is a recap of the 3 reasons I no longer buy the Stihl brush cutter blades:
1.) The Forrester blade is heavier duty with heavier cutting teeth.
2.) The Forrester blade is bigger so I can cut bigger diameter
3.) The Forrester blade is cheaper!

In 2016, we decided to move out of town with our two boys so that they could grow up outside, raising animals, working hard, and learning to love their family. Some days it feels like we've bitten off more than we can chew, but there is always something interesting going on around here. We wouldn't trade our lives for anything now! Our videos show you what it looks like from day to day in our life. House and building projects, gardening, firewood, raising animals, hunting, fishing, gathering mushrooms, and much more.
