Here's 3 Reasons You're NOT Building Muscle At Home.

Today on FitnessFAQs we cover 3 success principles for home workouts.
For those of you struggling to grow muscle with your workouts, here's why.

1 Intensity
In order to grow muscle with minimal equipment, we need to train hard. Working close to muscle failure or leaving 12 reps in reserve is optimal.
This is the secret to gaining bigger muscle size, effort relative to failure.

2 Volume
Due to our lower intensity exercises at home, we need higher volume.
Not doing enough sets is a big home workout mistake, do more sets and more volume.

3 Consistency.
When using light dumbbells or calisthenics, we need to workout each muscle group 3 times per week. This approach elevates muscle protein synthesis while allowing time for recovery.
With bodyweight exercise we must be consistent to see results, don't skip workouts.
