Do you wish you could enjoy walking again but nagging hip pain is holding you back?

There are three strategies to help support your hip, reduce your pain and decrease muscle tightness with hip arthritis. If you are looking to increase walking distance, speed and/or comfort follow Dr. Alyssa Kuhn, physical therapist and osteoarthritis specialist through this video to learn what you can do to start.

With hip osteoarthritis, you are more prone to muscle tightness and stiffness, especially when walking. This can lead to more pain and stiffness afterwards, making you feel like you are paying for it hours or days later. In order to prevent this, you have to take care of your hip before, during and after walking.

In this video you'll also see example hip arthritis exercises to help you support your hip in the best ways. Walking is such a vital daily activity and here's to getting started on no longer dreading it.
