安徽桃源古村盛産祁門紅茶卻交通閉塞無人問津。2015年開始建築師馬科元和他的團隊用3年花500萬為這裡的一些老房子做改造將現代建築理念融入傳統的農村建築當中為整個村子注入新的活力。他說建築師做鄉建不是一條富貴之路而是清修之路。

Taoyuan ancient village, Anhui Province, is known for Keemun black tea, but it was hardly visited because of its poor transport facilities. Beginning in 2015, architect Ma Keyuan and his team invested 3 years and 5 million yuan in the transformation of some of the old houses here, and they integrated modern building concept into the traditional rural buildings, the whole village was thereby rejuvenated. He said, doing rural construction for an architect was not a road to prosperity, but a road to inner peace.
