Is 338 lapua magnum the extreme long range king? If you are researching calibers for extreme long range this video is for you! In this video we'll provide a side by side comparison of 338 lapua magnum and 300PRC at 100 yds, 1465 yds and 1815 yds. For the comparison we'll utilize my Barrett MRAD equipped with factory barrels in each caliber. Optic is a nightforce ATACR F1 735 scope with tremor 3 reticle. The intent of this comparison is to look at both cartridges in a magazine fed application, thus we'll utilize the 230gr hornady atip in the 300PRC and the 285gr hornady ELDM in the .338LM.
