Steven Montgomery took entrepreneurship to another level when he grew ResiBrands into one of the country’s best homeservice brands and fastestgrowing painting franchise. In 2023 alone, the entrepreneur racked in over $25M in revenue and now is expected to generate $100M by the end of 2024.

Steven’s journey in entrepreneurship began when he dropped out of college and got a job power washing three houses per day. After years of only earning pennies on the dollar for hard labor, he finally decided to quit and move onto another job. A day later, however, his path turned sideways when the painting job he had lined up got canceled.

At this point, he was relying on his wife’s Starbucks salary and tips to pay for rent and groceries. Knowing he needed to make change, he created boundaries for himself to follow. If the sun is up, for instance, then he’s working. From that day on, Steven began tracking down every lead, knocking on doors, and writing down estimates. Within a matter of weeks, he was managing his very own business.
