ABOUT THE ALBUM
March 14, 2020 was my first day in quarantine from the Coronavirus epidemic. The day before was a regular day in New Jersey, but everything seemed to change overnight. The music on this album is a series of solo improvisations for flute with effects pedals recorded between March and May of 2020. Many of the tracks weee written and recorded in the same day. No overdubbing, and all effects played in realtime... all in one raw take, straight from my heart to yours. ⠀

Looking back, these tracks form a "sound diary" of my experiences and feelings on that particular day. The Quarantine Tapes were my medicine during this time, and I hope that they are healing for you, too.
