A lot of the scifi builds I do fly well enough to make a video and that's about it. I enjoy building, but I also really enjoy flying, so I wanted to make something that looked cool, but flew just as well as the regular 3D foam aerobatic planes I fly for fun. The 3DXWing is a step in that direction. After several revisions and tweaks to the profiles and areas, I've got something that is VERY aerobatic and a generally smooth flyer. Out of all my build this is probably the most approachable, so I'm going to do a Part 2 that walks through how to put one together, links to plans, etc. I let some folks fly this at NEAT fair a couple weeks back, and I'm going to incorporate some of their feedback into the final version.

I've got some backlogged builds and videos from NEAT that I'll try to get up soon as well :)

As with all my builds, this is strictly for fun. I do not intend to sell any sort of kit based on this project, although I will be glad to answer questions about the build, and help anyone who is interested create their own. Do not upload my content as your own, and please provide proper attribution if you are sharing it.
