Hi lovely folks, if you've stumbled across these vlogs then you, or someone you love, is likely worried about some serious things right now. Just know that there's lots of us out here who've been through it, and you're not alone. Take good care, Jo xx

Here is the complete description of my procedure;

bilateral salpingo oophorectomy and hysterectomy.

(If you'd like some nuts and bolts info, have a read through the NHS info page https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/hystere... )

And for general times of postop recovery this blog post is great ~ http://hyst.blogspot.com/2004/09/heal...

And i'm going say it again, because that's my way :) It's so important to listen to your body and rest don't worry about the dishes or the washing. Or work, or commitments. Now you have to heal. Concentrate your mind on how much better you're going to be when you're well, and don't worry about all the 'what ifs,' because they'll come whether you worry about them or not.

Stay upbeat Lovely Humans.

I film all sorts of videos here, and I try to organise them, sort of… check out my home page for playlists on writing, spirituality, narrow boating, menopause — pretty much anything my over 40, British brain takes a fancy to.
