We discussed 4 ways to get rid of Japanese beetles which are number pest in the garden in general, but especially with roses. Japanese beetles can cause a lot of damage to rose bushes, and they can be a huge pain to try and get rid of. Here are 4 simple ways to get rid of them:
1. Plant begonia near to the roses. Begonias have a chemical in the buds and leaves, which paralyzes the beetle when eaten. They fall to the ground and birds can eat them.
2. Drop them in warm soapy water.
3. Spray the beetles with an organic spray.
4. Crush/squish the beetles between the fingers.
