▶ Here are 4 WAYS you can level up your drum grooves using your BASS DRUM! Bass drum pairs, 16th notes, minimal and full patterns all feature in this video, with each method including an explanation and examples with notation. This video also includes a demonstration of each level up method played to a drumless backing track, and at the end of the video I have included the backing music with a click track so you can have a go at playing along with it yourself!

▶ As always, when you are learning something new, remember to keep the TEMPO down until you are comfortable at the speed you are at. COUNT ALOUD before and during playing and keep notation in front of you to make sure what you're playing is correct. I hope you got something out of this drum lesson!
