This is my Kraft Elect Rider RC motorcycle that I bought with my big bro in 1979, or thereabouts, for $100 from Tower Hobbies store. He let me buy him out in the 1980's after his interest waned. I have kept it safe ever since! In 2017 I did a full tear down, cleaning, repairing, painting, and reassembling in a restoration. It still runs on the original brushed motor, with an upgraded Novak ESC (that I added to it in the '80's), and now on a 2cell, 800mah lipo battery. I time the runs at 10 minutes to prevent over discharge of the lipo.
New for 2022, is control from a vintage 1980's Futaba wheel transmitter that I converted to 2.4GHz protocol. Another change is the plastic water bottle under the yellow rider for his seat and fuel tank cover.
