कैसे बनाई जाती है PROM प्रोम कम्पोस्ट (super compost) खाद?

राजस्थान के कोटा स्थित श्रीराम शांताय जैविक कृषि अनुसंधान केंद्र के पवन टांक का कहना है प्रोम कम्पोस्ट खाद गुड़, गोबर, छांछ और रॉक फास्फेट से बनाई जाती है। रॉक फास्फेट प्राकृतिक रूप से चट्टानों में पाया जाता है इसमें फास्फोरस, कैल्शियम, मैग्नीशियम जैसे कई प्रकार का पोषक तत्व पाये जाते हैं। रॉक फास्फेट में फास्फोरस की मात्रा 18 से 22% , कैल्शियम की मात्रा 8 से 9% और मैग्नीशियम मात्रा 1 से 2% होती है। प्रोम कम्पोस्ट खाद बनाने के लिए कच्चे माल में 10 % रॉक फास्फेट का उपयोग करते हैं। एक टन प्रोम कम्पोस्ट खाद बनाने के लिए 30 किलो गाय का ताजा गोबर, 2 किलो गुड़ और 30 लीटर छांछ का घोल बना लेते हैं। इसके बाद रॉक फास्फेट मिले वेस्ट में मिला लेते है। मिलाने बाद उसे फसलों के अपशिष्ट से ढक दिया जाता है। एक एकड़ मे करीब ढाई टन प्रोम कम्पोस्ट खाद डालनी चाहिए। इसको डालने से पहले वर्ष में ही उत्पादन रसायनिक खाद के बराबर हो जाता है।

Pawan Tank from Shriram Shantay Organic Agriculture Research Center, Kota Rajasthan states that Prom compost can be easily made of jiggery, cow dung and buttermilk and rock phosphate. Rock Phosphate is naturally found in rocks and contains minerals like phosphorous, calcium, magnesium. Rock phosphate contains 1822%phosphorous, 89% calcium, 12% magnesium. Only 10% of rock phosphate is used to make prom compost. To make one ton of prom compost 30kgs of fresh cow dung, 2 kilograms of jaggery and 30 liters of buttermilk are mixed together to make a solution. At the end rock phosphate is added to this semi solid mixture. The mixture is then covered with dry straws /hay or plant waste material. Around 2.5 tons of compost is required in one acre of land. Within a span of one year only the productivity of the land in which this prom compost is used equalizes to that of chemical fertilizers used.
