Hey guys I hope you enjoy this 48 hours in bath vlog. We had such an amazing 48 hours in bath it was SO nice to go back and visit some of our old favourite places and discover some new ones too. If you are planning 48 hours in Bath then hopefully this 48 hours in Bath vlog can give you some good recommendations! We visited one of our favourite cocktail bars, ate amazing food, watched the rugby and popped to the royal crescent before heading home to London. Not forgetting eating my FAVOURITE Sunday Roast at Malborough Tavern.

My recommendations :)

Food and drink:
The Canary Gin Bar: Super cute Gin Bar, very small, candlelit and cosy perfect for girly drinks or a date night
Chez Dominique: French cuisine, SUCH good food, the service was so lovely (if a tiny bit slow) but honestly it just made it even more special as it forced us to slow down. Location is amazing, right near the weir. 10/10.
The West Gate: The ultimate sports pub, they have so many screens, loads of seating, the atmosphere is always great and surprisingly great food for a sports bar!

Alternatives not in the vlog:
The Dark Horse is also a fab cocktail bar in Bath, you need to book here. Again, dark, cosy with all the vibes.
Sotto Sotto the most incredible Italian, family run, amazing value for money, located in underground cellars it feels super special BUT you need to book like 3 months in advance for busy periods. They do have a waitlist that I really recommend as well as sometimes you can get an early table last minute!

Where to stay:
Bath is expensive and there are some truly GORGEOUS hotels. If you want to go luxury, my top recs are The Gainsborough and The Priory no15 Pulteney also looks amazing but I haven’t been (yet!). But if you are there to really explore the city you may not want to splash the cash this time we stayed at Hiding Space Trim Street Apartments as a more budget friendly option, 7/10 amazing location, cute amenities, but the sound proofing was awful from the street and we were on the top floor so if you were lower down it’d be a nightmare.
