Part 2 of my visit to Tower 55 starts with more BNSF action as a manifest gets the light to move north. Now we saw that also a southbound train had the light too and we were excited to possibly have our second meet of the day. We'd hoped the southbound would arrive first to get a proper meet but that didn't happen and it turned out to be one of our target catches of the day, a loaded coal train. After the coal train clears we get a cool down time before the UP IDISI22 shows up westbound. Next we see the UP MFWBD pulling out and heading south with a nice trio of EMD power. Next we get our first grain train of the day, the UP GS2BWT20. While the grain train was passing I noticed a northbound light on the BNSF side. WOW! Another meet and it turned out to be our first Amtrak of the day. Amtrak 21 from San Antonio about to make it to the station. We decided to switch side of the track ahead of the southbound UP MNPEW20. After we see our first BNSF intermodal southbound, one of the crew thought I was a REDs fan cause I was wearing a red shirt. We then noticed the southbound Amtrak 22 get the green out of the station. Next we see the UP MEWFW get its route into Davidson Yard which ends part 2 cause my battery died! LOL
