For my final part of my railfan trip to Dallas we begin over at Decatur Ave just north of the West Fork Trinity River. We chose this location to get a shot of the Heartland Flyer heading back North, but first we are greeted by a Trinity Metro TEXrail train heading to the station. A few minutes later Amtrak gets the clear. I was wanting pics more than the video so I set my camera up to record and walked away. Enjoy the BTS clip of @Southeast_Railfan84 creating his masterpiece. After we head back over to the tower for more freight action. A BNSF southbound manifest was our first action. Next we see the UP CJBNA120 empty coal train heading north. Our next but not last meet of the day happened next as a southbound BNSF manifest meets a northbound intermodal. After the intermodal we start packing up for the drive home and upon checking my phone I saw 2 lights northbound on the UP side. Thinking we might have a race on our hands we tried to set back up but the NS lead UP MHOCBB22 came speeding past northbound. I could only whip out my phone in time. So our final shots were indeed a meet/race. The UP RMHPHQ20 lost but the rear DPU power made for nice ending.
