[4K] STORM ISHA | Emirates A380 CROSSWIND Takeoff at Glasgow Airport

It’s now 2024 and the first proper storm, Storm Isha hits Europe. No matter the size of plane, pilots fight with the elements to either land or get their planes into the sky safely. Here’s the largest passenger plane in the world, the Emirates A380 departing Glasgow for Dubai, as the first high winds started to hit the airport. Watch as the A380 lifts off, it banks from side to side, in crosswinds. A few hours later, planes had to divert, the winds got that high, no planes could land safely.

The video was filmed from inside the Loganair hangar, on a tour, as part of Loganair’s Saab 340 farewell tour and send off. Keep an eye out for the TripReport from one of the farewell flights, the hangar tour video and my published stories on Airways Magazine.
