4x4 Covered Wagon Revived!

Follow
Low-Buck Garage

This covered wagon is built on a Jeep FC150 chassis with a Willys "Go Devil" Lhead engine. I built it almost two years ago, and I decided it was finally time to get around to little details like brakes.

A quick note on the brakes, in the video I talked about the different length brake shoes. I've had a few comments saying that I had it backward, but there are different types of drum brakes. Most people are used to the Bendix style brakes, that have a floating adjuster on the bottom. These have the larger shoe on the back, because the bottom moves with the wheel rotation. This axle has the WagnerLockheed style brakes where the bottom is fixed and the top can move. This style has the larger shoe on the front. I'll detail this in the next video when I replace the leaky wheel cylinder.
