As an effective lubricant for outdoor gear and equipment. ChapStick can be used for everything from getting a stubborn zipper to operate more smoothly, to easing the joining and assembly of your 2 piece or telescoping fishing rod.
A quick, emergency repair option for waterproofing a minor puncture or tear in your tentfly, rain jacket, or nylon tarp shelter.
A surprisingly effective homemade, emergency candle lantern.
