On this planet there are thousands of invasive species and I have made many videos on these species. I find the topic of invasive species very interesting and you guys seem to too. There are actually a few invasive species around the world that are actually threatened or endangered in their native range. I will be going through just a few of these species as I will be going through 5 invasive species that are threatened in their native range.

Our first threatened invasive species is the red masked parakeet. The red masked parakeet is threatened in it's native range out south America but it has been introduced in north America.

Our next invasive species that is also invasive is the Chinese softshell turtle. The Chinese softshell turtle is a highly adapted aquatic turtle but has been hunted to the brink of extinction mainly because of the turtle soup trade. the Chinese softshell turtle is invasive other other parts of Asia.

Our next threated invasive species is the barbary sheep. The barbary sheep is native to the rocky mountains of north Africa but the barbary sheep is now found in parts of the US and Europe.

Our next threatened invasive species is the chinook salmon. The chinook salmon is a very popular fish and is actually disappearing from some parts of the US. The chinook salmon has become invasive over some parts of south America.

Our final threatened invasive species is the Java Sparrow. The Java sparrow has been hunted to the brink of extinction as they feed on valuable crops. The Java sparrow has been kept as a pet for hundreds of years.
