Street Shoe Shine in my favorite mountain city of San Cristobal.

I am in the traditional Square/Plaza of beautiful Downtown San Cristobal de las Casas.

Downtown San Cristobal, Mexico, is such a magical city.

I am grateful he welcomed me so I can document his skills. Manuel Martinez, 71 years old, and has 40 years of experience as a shoe shiner.

Traveling San Cristobal has been a joy, especially learning more of the Indigenous struggle for equality. This has been my favorite mountain city so far.
