Here’s 5 ways you can flourish double d’s.

Couple of tips:

When I am writing words with two identical letters next to each other, I like to add a variation to one.
Accent one vs. trying to flourish both to keep the lines clean and legible ☺
Keep the flourishes separate or interlock them by intersecting at nearly right angles
One thing I want to say is I can share a bunch of examples but flourishing is not an isolated concept. The beauty of flourishing is how the possibilities open up depending on what letters are next to it. That’s why I stress on learning the basic principles of flourishing first. That will enable you to take those concepts and apply it to whatever you are writing!
