Jed: The saw world is very small. There's a few companies out here doing it. It's a very unique operation, and you have to have plenty of time to get into it. You've got to have at least 1,000 hours and get that experience with a hook, and some kind of load experience. That's speaking on behalf of our company anyways, that's what we require. After that we're going to throw a dummy saw under you and see how you can do it.

You might have a ton of hook time, but slinging a saw is much different than just slinging a tire around. You've got to get those hours in. I've gotten to the point where I don't think I could guess how many hours I've flown. You get to where it's just work, you just go to work. I love it.
