As we've drawn another year to a close, its great to reflect back on the highlights it contained! 2020 was an awful year for the aviation industry and saw a lot of airlines going bankrupt and/or retiring planes to stay afloat. Sydney like most airports, is getting a fraction of the flights it used to.

Featured in this video is all the different aircraft Sydney has gotten this year that I have filmed, as well as some aircraft that are now retired along with a few repatriation flights that I have caught on my trips to Sydney this year!

A few notable highlights in this video are:
ATI's new 3x weekly service with Boeing 767s
Airwork acquired their first 757 from Olympus
Polar started 2x weekly services between Guam and Sydney
Kalitta Air increased to daily with 777Fs
Aircalin upgraded to A330neos
Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Delta and Fiji Airways all switched to A350 aircraft
South African flew a repatriation flight with A340s
Extra cargo means BAe146s can be caught flying during the day instead of exclusively at night
